Asus has a trio of Windows 8 tablets on deck for the holidays, but the pricing is so high—$599 to $1,299 for a hybrid—that it’s going to be nearly impossible to compete in the marketplace.

    Fire Ballmer, make surface tablets no less than $150 cheaper than Apple ipads and hire someone to think forward and not backward.

    I am so tired of seeing ideas, like surface, from Microsoft only to have them hold on to it for such a ridiculously long time before introducing it to the real world. Microsoft has enough money that they can afford to take some chances. If they dont, we will have Windows and Office and Microsoft will just be 2nd shelf to every other company who makes innovations.
