Microsoft is trying to quash talk about its upcoming Xbox 720 games console by demanding that web sites displaying a related document take it down.
Reports say that the firm has lawyers sending out takedown notices to web sites like Dropbox where the document, which discusses the Xbox 720 in some glorious detail, is being shared. Where the document was displayed now stand messages that claim it was removed at “the request of Covington & Burling LLP”.
