AVerMedia is one of the leaders in PC-based tuner technology, and the company’s latest card for turning your PC into a conduit for HDTV is the AVerTVHD Duet, a PCI Express (PCIe) x1 internal expansion card for desktop systems.
It has two TV tuners, both digital, that allow you to watch and record two shows at the same time. The card cannot receive analog signals, however. In fact, if you’re installing it in a Windows XP or Vista computer, you’ll need a companion analog TV-tuner card for it to work.
