Polonium-210–the poison suspected in the death of an ex-Russian spy–is sold for legal industrial purposes, such as removal of static electricity, according to the report. However, if ingested, the poison can cause a hideous death. Former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko died Thursday in London after losing his hair and suffering a ravaged immune and nervous system.
The substance many are crediting with his death is what you can buy from United Nuclear Scientific Equipment & Supplies. The site also offers anti-radiation pills as well as a tantalizing pitch for uranium that resembles a male-enhancement ad frequently seen on late-night TV.

Bob Lazar is one of the LAST few who will sell real science kits to interested hobbyists. He’s a hero to those of us who love learning and experimeting. Unfortunately, there are those who think that anything that could hurt someone is *EVIL* and that it *MUST NOT BE FOR SALE* In this case, I expect that nittering nabobs see *RADIOACTIVE* and miss the fact that Drain-O would kill someone just as dead. Bob has been raided in the past by a government SWAT team, usually used by the BATF, but used in that case by the CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Comission.) It seems that his science kit for 12 year olds contained some chemicals that could be used to make firecrackers, if you knew what you were doing, and had a few hours to spare. Let’s hope that they don’t shut him down for good over this. This is scary – the idiocy from the media reminds me of Any Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” where everyone who uses their brain is an enemy of the people.
They’re not?
Cogito ergo non gratis
